Council Member Chris Parvin is the fifth generation of his family to live in Cedar Hill. His family has been in this community since 1867. Chris and his wife, Toni, are continuing that tradition by raising their own children (and a dog and a fish) here. He was elected in June of 2009.
Chris is a business and estate planning attorney at the Dallas law firm of Emmert & Parvin, LLP. He is licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. Chris is also a trained and experienced civil mediator. In addition to his law practice, Chris is the owner and operator of White Rhino Coffeein Cedar Hill.
Chris served for three years on the city’s Main StreetBoard. He is a member of the Cedar Hill Lions Club, the Friends of the Zula B. Wylie Library and a leader at Life Church in Midlothian, Texas.
