The Main Street Development & Preservation Board mission is to maintain the historic heritage of the City of Cedar Hill by working actively with City of Cedar Hill partners, City Council, Economic Development and other boards by serving as an advocate for downtown revitalization.
How will we walk within our mission?
Advising the EDC Board and P&Z Commission on new developments and rehabilitation of existing properties and structures.
Establish position statements as may best represent the business and residents as preservation and development projects are proposed.
Organize and maintain a community effort to revitalize Cedar Hill's historic downtown.
Apprise city administrators on the financial needs of historic downtown.
Be proactive representatives of the community and advocates for downtown revitalization.
