Kid Fish Tournament

Bring your fishing poles, rods and reels, and come experience the joy of fishing. Bait and tackle will be provided along with a limited number of rods and reels. Supplies will be provided on a first come first serve basis, so plan to arrive early.
 
Trophies will be awarded by weight of the total fish caught. Event will include a hot dog luncheon and prize drawings, and is sponsored by the Dallas Bass Hookers Club.

Registration for the tournament will be available onsite.

Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy free concerts by various artists while relaxing under the stars. Food Vendors will be on site starting at 7:00pm, so plan on dinner and a night full of fun at Valley Ridge Park.

The World's Largest Swimming Lesson™

The nation's top water safety and training organizations are joining forces to present The World's Largest Swimming Lesson (WLSL) to build awareness about the vital importance of teaching children to swim to help prevent drowning. Be part of the Guinness World Record for the largest swimming lesson, where every participant will receive a free lesson and certificate.

Juneteenth Arts & Music Festival: Celebrating Freedom through Diversity

The City of Cedar Hill and Best of Southwest cities join together for the Juneteenth Arts & Music Festival: Celebrating Freedom through Diversity, honoring the oldest known celebration of the ending of slavery. Activities include food vendors, a variety of art by local artist, crafts in the Kids on the Hill Creative Arts Zone, musical performances and much more. 

Entertainment on the main stage includes performances by Rattletree Marimba of Austin, TX , Memphis Soul of Dallas, TX and the infamous and nationally known Dazz Band, who's biggest hit songs include the Grammy Award-winning "Let It Whip". You don't want to miss this evening of community celebrations, great music, and arts, all for FREE!

The Cedar Hill Baseball Association will host the USSSA ‘A’ World Series again this year.  Games will be played at Dot Thomas, ParkervilleCommunity Center and Valley Ridge ball fields.  Teams will enjoy an organized, exciting tournament that will help you prepare for the post season play.  Gather with your friends, co-workers and family for this fun exciting event that keeps players active, healthy, and teaches leadership and teamwork.
