Four Easy Ways to Register for Programs:

  • Online by clicking on the "Register Online" icon above
  • In person at the Crawford Park Pool (when open for the season)
  • In person at the Alan E. Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center
  • In person at the Parks and Recreation Administrative Offices

Pre-registration is required for all programs unless otherwise listed and all fees are due at the time of registration. Please note the deadline for all programs is 3 days prior to the start of the class. All programs require a minimum number of registrants in order to operate.

Programs will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Each program fee is listed in the brochure, and additional supplies might be required if noted. Cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express) are accepted.

Cancellation Policy

  • The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel any program or special event, due to low program registrations or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • In the event that a program is cancelled, registrants will be notified right away.
  • Registrants will have the option of transferring to another program or receiving a full refund applied to their account (see refund policy).

Refund/Withdrawal Policy

  • Withdrawals from a program will be granted when requested more than 7 days prior to the start date of the program.
  • There are no refunds for non-attendance, supply fees or online transaction fees.
  • Written documentation from your doctor must accompany any medical withdrawals. A pro-rated refund will be granted for withdrawals filed during or after the course. Medical withdrawals must be requested, with proper documentation, within a month of the program's ending date.
  • To complete your withdrawal, a Refund Request Form must be completed in person at a Parks and Recreation Facility.
  • Fees approved through the request will be refunded to the original form of payment within 30 days of the request. Original credit card payments will be refunded to the credit card, and cash or check payments will be refunded in the form of a check.

Waitlist

  • Due to instructor to participant requirements, each class has a certain number of spots available. Once the program fills up, registrants have the option to be placed on a waitlist at no cost.
  • Program openings are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Registrants will be notified if a space becomes available or a new class is formed.
  • Registrant will be required to complete the course registration once notified, and payment will be due at the time of registration.
