June 14-16 - Youth Summit on the Hill

This is a FREE, three day event for kids ages 8-17. Participants will hear presentations about drugs & alcohol abuse, the juvenile justice system, peer pressure, bullying, positive decision making, distracted driving, and internet safety. Lots of interactive events such as all-star basketball game, dodge ball and much more.

Free lunch provided. Registration is required and the number of participants is limited. 

June 24 - Habitat Restoration Workday
9:00 am-12:00 pm
Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center

Volunteers are invited to join us to assist with our monthly habitat workday. Projects are based on current needs and may include trail-building, habitat management, invasive plant removal, gardens and much more. 

Corporate and other team building groups welcome! Please call or e-mail in advance if arriving with a group of more than five so that we may plan projects accordingly.

We recommend that you bring work gloves, sunscreen, hat, appropriate footwear and clothes that can get dirty. We will provide tools but if you have basic tools that you can bring, you are welcome to do so.

Learn life skills, tips and suggestions on living with diabetes. Generally the 4th Monday of every month.

From now on Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center will open up our trails every Sunday to you and your furry friends. All they ask is that you please follow their basic rules: use a leash, clean up your mess, and have fun!
