Welcome to the Tween Services Page
We offer a range of services and programs throughout the year for tweens ages 8 to 12. We connect youth with free resources such as library materials, creative programs, websites and databases. Through the power of information, imagination and ideas, the Zula B. Wylie Public Library strives to inspire the tweens of our community.

Collecting Prizes
Stop by the library once a week to pick out a book of your choice and brag tag of the week from the prize cart!
Grand Prizes
Throughout the summer on the Beanstack app, you get a chance to put your tickets that you earn from logging your time read into the virtual grand prize buckets. Winners will be announced at the Summer Reading Finale.

About the Tween Graphic Novel Book ClubThe tween book club, for ages 8-12, is a monthly book club that read fun and inclusive books that represent the diverse lived experiences of tweens in the community. Book club meetings are a safe space to discuss the book, do fun activities, and connect with other tweens. Free copies of this month's book are available at the library on a first come first serve basis.About the BookIn the month of June & July we will be reading graphic novels that take place at summer camps! July's book club pick is "Camp" by Kayla Miller. July Meeting Date:Monday, July 18th from 5-6PM at the library. |
Youth Tellers (Currently on Summer Break)
- 2nd & 4th Mondays of the month from 5-6PM.
- Children in grades 3 to 6 are invited to learn fun and exciting ways to tell stories.

Four Summer Reading lists are available for birth-preschool and grades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8.

Provides engaging stories representing a variety of cultures and backgrounds. For birth-8th grade.
