Communication brings us together
The city's communication with the public is coordinated by the Public Relations Department. The City of Cedar Hill strives to share information with everyone in the community using several avenues:
  • News media: primarily newspapers and TV, occasionally with radio and magazines
  • The City website, email subscriptions and social media
  • Highlights newsletters are mailed with residents' water bills and placed at locations in the city
  • Community involvement: City Council meetings, Board and Commission meetings, Mayor's Leadership Meetings, visits to neighborhood organizations, special events
  • Recorded phone messages, text messages
