HUNDREDS SHARE INPUT ON LIBRARY & SIGNATURE PARK

The public input process for the new public library and signature park kicked off in October, with hundreds of participants sharing their thoughts and preferences on amenities and features of the project.

Library and Parks and Recreation staff hosted a myriad of opportunities of input throughout the month, included drive-thru events, a ‘Community Fun Day’, National Night Out, and Scare in the Park with t-shirts, treats and giveaways for participants.

The project, approved by voters in 2017, will include a new public library facility adjacent to a new signature community park, with amenities and programs that create a destination for Cedar Hill residents and visitors.
