2021 Summer Reading Challenge
The goal of the Zula B. Wylie Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge "Reading Colors Your World" is to provide a colorful summer experience that celebrates community connection and all that sparks our curiosity! We want to invite all ages to participate. Keep track of your reading on Beanstack, reach reading goals and earn badges that can be redeemed for prizes!

Participants will be able to come by the library and pickup their prizes that they earned during this week. Prizes are subject to change and availability.

One Book, One Community Family Book Chats

In partnership with CHISD, we’re excited for this summer’s
One Book, One Community Family Book Chats! Join your community in reading and discussing New Kid by Jerry Craft.
The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt is also available
for our early readers to follow along. We encourage everyone to sign and up and participate in virtual book discussions/activities held via Zoom on June 10, 24 and July 8, 22 at 6:30 pm.
