Who We Are
The Cedar Hill Fire Department works under the guidance of Dr. Robert Simonson and provides 24/7 medical support and advice to their Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). The department also places a strong emphasis on continuing education, with monthly training sessions for their Paramedics, ensuring they remain up-to-date with the latest medical expertise. By prioritizing ongoing education and medical support, the Cedar Hill Fire Department is dedicated to providing the highest quality emergency medical care to the community.
Activity Summary
Cedar Hill Fire Department responded to 5540 medical emergencies in 2022. In April 2022, they responded to 425. In April 2023, they responded to 492, a 15.8% increase. We will update these volumes each month and provide a year-end summary.
ChartSwap
ChartSwap is a medical records retrieval platform used by attorneys and other authorized parties to request medical records. It streamlines the process of obtaining medical records by allowing users to submit requests electronically and receive records securely.
However, if you need to request your personal medical records, you will need to contact Cedar Hill Fire Department directly. They will be able to provide you with information on how to request your records and any associated fees or requirements. It's important to note that access to medical records is subject to certain legal and regulatory requirements, and may be restricted in some cases.
Our Service and Commitment
The Cedar Hill Fire Department is dedicated to providing exceptional 24-hour emergency medical protection to the community. With three fully equipped Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICU) and three fully stocked Paramedic Engines, the department is well-prepared to handle medical emergencies. Each ambulance and engine is staffed with a minimum of one highly trained Paramedic and one Emergency Medical Technician, ensuring patients receive the best possible care. This commitment to top-quality emergency medical services is a testament to the department's unwavering dedication to the health and well-being of Cedar Hill's citizens.
