Mon Oct 7 - Cedar Hill Rotary Club will be meeting at 6pm at High Pointe Baptist Church for their weekly meeting.

Thu Oct 10 - Join us for a fun-filled Fire Prevention Evening with the Fire Department. Enjoy food and drinks get learn about fire safety with our L.A.F.S. clown team.  Event will be from 4pm - 7pm at the Zula B Wylie Public Library.  Free event for everyone!

Fri Oct 11 - Cheer on the team as Cedar Hill Varsity Football take on Mansfield Summit and celebrate Homecoming.  Game starts at 7:30pm at Longhorn Stadium.

Sat Oct 12 - The day is here for the 82nd Annual Country Day on the Hill.  The annual event features a parade, over 100 craft vendors, food, activities, contests and live entertainment on 3 stages through the entire day. All of the fun and excitement happens in Historic Downtown from 9am - 6pm.

Sat Oct 12 - As always, remember you can also go hiking with your furry best friend during Dog Day Saturdays at Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center 9 am - 5 pm. Check trail status here.

Mon Sept 30 - Cedar Hill Rotary Club will be meeting at 6pm at High Pointe Baptist Church for their weekly meeting.

Mon Sep 30 - Historic Downtown Advisory Board will have their regular meeting at the Cedar Hill Government Center on the 4th Floor.  Meeting will begin at 6:00pm.

Thu Oct 3 - Join the Mayor for the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast to pray for our community and all who live, work, visit, go to school or in any way are touched by Cedar Hill.  Event will be held from 7:30am - 8:30am at the Alan E Sims Cedar Hill Rec Center.  Free event, all are welcome.
 
Fri Oct 4 - Sat Oct 5 - Ready to take part in a community theater?  Go to the Love Your City Theater for The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe Auditions.  Auditions will be held at the Trinity Church.   Auditions will be held on Friday from 6-8pm and on Saturday from 4-6pm.

Fri Oct 4 - Sat Oct 5 - Cedar Hill High School Fine Arts Department presents Legally Blonde: The Musical!  at 7 PM in the Performing Arts CenterBased on the smash hit movie, Legally Blonde: The Musical follows the transformation of Elle Woods from a pink-loving, SoCal sorority girl to a Harvard law student, all on her own terms.  Admission is $10 at the door. 

Sat Oct 5 - Join a park ranger for the Zombie Apocalypse Hike to see if you can finish without becoming a zombie!  The park ranger will teach about hiking safety and the basic skills needed to survive in Cedar Hill State Park.  Regular park admission applies. No additional charge for activity.  Reservation required.

Mon Sept 23 - Cedar Hill Rotary Club will be meeting at 6pm at High Pointe Baptist Church for their weekly meeting.

Mon Sep 23 - City Council will have a special meeting at the Cedar Hill Government Center in the 3rd Floor CHISD Training Room.  Meeting will be begin at 6:00pm.

Tue Sep 24 - Cedar Hill Lions Club will be having their meeting at Good Shepherd Church.  Meeting will begin at 12:00pm.
 
Tue Sep 24 - Weigh in on the future of Cedar Hill ISD with Superintendent Gerald Hudson and district leaders at the Discussions with Dr. Hudson event at the Ninth Grade Center.  Event will be held from 6 pm - 7:30 pm and is one of the two remaining meetings.  Residents only need to attend one meeting.

Tue Sep 24 - City Council will have a special meeting at the Cedar Hill Government Center in the T.W. "Turk" Cannady / Cedar Hill Room.  Meeting will be begin at 6:00pm.

Thu Sep 26 - Remember your lost furry family members at the special Candle Lighting Ceremony and Check Presentation at the Tri-City Animal Shelter & Adoption Center.  Light a candle to remember the lives of our own beloved pets and to "shine a light" on all the pets still waiting at the shelter for their own family.  There will also be a celebration of the check presentation for the generous investment in the new Surgery Suite & Medical Center that will be built.  Event will begin at 7:30pm.

Fri Sep 27 - Enjoy a great night of football as the varsity football team of Cedar Hill High School takes on Waxahachie High at Longhorn Stadium starting at 7:30pm.  

Sat Sep 28 - Join a park ranger to learn about Radical Rabbits and their essential role in the prairie ecosystem!  Start your morning at 9am and enjoy some family fun at the Cedar Hill State Park.  Regular park admission applies.

Sat Sep 28 - Stay after the Radical Rabbits to enjoy more fun for Art in the Park.  Craft your own bunny mask to commemorate the fun at 9:30am at the Cedar Hill State Park.  Regular park admission applies.

Sat Sep 28Take the next step! Join the City of Cedar Hill & Neighborhood Services for the 2nd Annual Neighborhood Summit.  This FREE event will provide attendees with the tools and information to conduct neighborhood meetings, recruit volunteers, and network, with their neighbors to improve neighborhood vitality and engagement. Event will be held from 9:00am to 1:00pm at the Cedar Hill Government Center.

Sat Sep 28Dust off your boots, grab your cowboy hat, and bring your kinfolk to our 11th annual Paws, Claws & Outlaws Gala benefiting Friends of Tri-City Animal Shelter!  Tickets are available for purchase.  Event will be held at the Alan E Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
