[ARCHIVED] Citizen Police Academy starts Aug. 13

The Citizen Police Academy (CPA) is a FREE course for all residents and those who work in Cedar Hill. Offered by the Police And Community Team (P.A.C.T.) of the Cedar Hill Police Department, CPA is a 12-week, 30-hour course which includes 2 training classes of 3 hours each for those interested in the Citizens On Patrol (C.O.P.) program.

The CPA is held twice each year for those age 17 and older who can pass a minimum background check. Classes run from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. for 12 consecutive weeks. Classes are held at 601 E. Belt Line Road in the Grady M. Lamb Community and Police Services Building. Classes are limited to 25 students.
