David opened Rockfish Seafood Grill as manager and chef, then bought the restaurant and named it David's Seafood Grill in 2006. He has set the standard for premier customer service and hospitality as the restaurant earned a place as one of the top restaurants in Cedar Hill, according to TripAdvisor.
He has served on the Chamber of Commerce Board since 2007, as Chairman in 2010 and was named Chamber Man of the year in 2011, recognizing his leadership, cooperation and inspiration to others to better serve the community.
He has co-chaired the Taste of Cedar Hill and Business Expo event since 2007.
He has served on the Cedar Hill Education Foundation Board since 2009, serving tirelessly, donating gift cards and food for events, ensuring their annual fundraising gala is a success as the CHEF provides funding for worthy teachers and their projects in the school district.
David has supported the next generation of chefs through the development and design of the Cedar Hill ISD culinary arts program and has served as a mentor to many young, aspiring chefs.
Since 2012 David has served on the City's Economic Development Corporation, helping recruit 34 new businesses during his tenure.
David lives the small town character of Cedar Hill and promotes the distinctive qualities of the community.
