The Cedar Hill City Council will act next month on the proposed Fiscal Year 2021-2022 budget, which includes a property tax rate of $0.69703 per $100 valuation. View the notice of the proposed property tax rate here.
In addition to maintaining current service levels, the FY22 budget continues to focus on the priorities identified by the City Council:
- Public Safety excellence and community relationships
- Implementation of the 2017 bond program (Parks, Library, and Streets/Drainage)
- Neighborhood Integrity and Community Engagement
The City Council will vote on the proposed budget and tax rate after holding a series of public hearings on Tuesday, September 14 beginning at 7 p.m. Public hearings will be held in person at the Cedar Hill Government Center. View the meeting agenda 72 hours in advance here.
