Chief Ely Reyes delivered the Cedar Hill Police Department’s 2022 Annual Report this summer, reporting that Cedar Hill has experienced a 44% reduction in crimes
between 2016 and 2022. “Cedar Hill continues to have the lowest violent crime rate and the lowest property crime rate among the Best Southwest region,” says Chief Reyes. “This is a
direct reflection of the dedicated work our sworn and professional staff do to keep our community safe.” The Annual Report provides information on the activities of each division of the Police Department.
