[ARCHIVED] FEMA seeks comments on floodplain maps

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) produces Flood Insurance Studies (FIS) and Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) to determine flood insurance rates for properties. FEMA has revised the FIRMs for the City of Cedar Hill and they are soliciting comments and appeals for the proposed preliminary floodplain maps.
The deadline to respond is December 15, 2011. Documents and answers to questions are available at the Government Center.
