[ARCHIVED] Operation Finally Home

The project is in cooperation with Operation FINALLY HOME, a non-profit organization who partners with developers, builders and donors to provide a mortgage-free home to wounded veterans and widows of fallen soldiers.

Operation FINALLY HOME has provided more than 40 homes to veterans across the United States. Lake Ridge developer SouthStar Communities has partnered with Operation FINALLY HOME on projects across Texas including the College Station and New Braunfels markets. This will be the first home for Operation FINALLY HOME in Lake Ridge.

Victory Custom Homes, a partnership of former Dallas Cowboy Bill Bates, has committed to build the new home, which will be built on a 1-acre homesite in the gated neighborhood The Sanctuary at Lake Ridge.

Bates and other former NFL players will be on hand to celebrate the Ground Breaking Event as well as Grand Prairie Mayor Ron Jensen.

To complete the home in Lake Ridge, we need the community’s help and support in the form of fundraising, monetary donations and donated materials and building supplies

If you are interested in donating supplies or building materials, please join us for a Town Hall Meeting Wednesday, July 24 from Noon-2 p.m. at the Dallas Builders Association, 5816 W. Plano Parkway in Plano. Lunch will be provided.
