City Council
Overview
The City of Cedar Hill is a home rule city with a council-manager form of government. Under this form of government, the elected City Council sets the policies for the city's operation. The administrative responsibility of the city rests with the City Manager who is appointed by the City Council.
The City Council consists of 7 members - 1 Mayor, and 6 Council members. The current members of the City Council are:

Proclamation Requests
A proclamation is an official document issued by the Mayor to honor and celebrate special events, acknowledge significant issues, or raise awareness of programs and people that are a part of Cedar Hill's distinctive character.
Proclamation requests should be from a City of Cedar Hill resident or an organization based in Cedar Hill. Requests should be made at least 2 weeks before the proclamation will be presented or picked up.
The requestor should provide proposed text for the proclamation in the form below, and the City may edit proposed text to reflect the City's vision, mission, and values.
After your request is received, the City will contact you at the phone number or email address provided with any questions or to confirm your proclamation request has been approved.
