2025 Summer Camp

Camp Description:


Live registration in-person or online for Camp Cedar Hill 2025 opened on Monday April 14th, 2025.

Update: Camp is FULL for all weeks and no longer accepting waitlist registrations.  We are sorry you were unable to join us this year but hope we may see your child in Camp Cedar Hill in 2026.

Camp Cedar Hill is presented in partnership by Alan E. Sims Recreation Center & Cedar Hill Action Team (CHAT).

Camp Cedar Hill is available for youth ages 6 - 13.  Campers will participate in an array of fun activities ranging from arts & crafts, games, gym activities, educational opportunities, field trips, and a lot of fun with friends and counselors.

Camp is offered Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Alan E. Sims Recreation Center.

We do offer an optional service of Before/After Care for those that need extra flexibility in their drop-off or pick-up needs.  Before Care is available from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. and After Care is available from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  The additional fee for this service provides you access to both time frames all week.

2025 Camp Cedar Hill Pricing Guide  

Fees: $20 registration fee (one-time, per child)

$85/week for camp

$15/week additional for Before/After Care

Camp Registration fee does not guarantee you every week in camp.  ALL FEES MUST BE PAID UP FRONT FOR EACH WEEK ENROLLED.  THERE ARE NO PAYMENT PLANS.

Week 1 (June 2 - June 6) 

Week 2 (June 9 - June 13) 

Week 3 (June 16 - June 20) *Camp will not be in session on June 19 in lieu of Juneteenth Holiday   

Week 4 (June 23 - June 27)

Week 5 (June 30 - July 4) *Camp will not be in session on July 4 in lieu of the 4th of July Holiday

Week 6 (July 7 - July 11)

Week 7 (July 14 - July 18)

Week 8 (July 21 - July 25)

Week 9: (July 28 - August 1)

*Due to camp cost obligations such as field trips, camp weeks with holiday closures are not prorated.

Field Trips:

*Field trips are subject to change.  Anticipated field trip days are on Tuesdays but could vary each week depending on the location availability.

Week 1:  Altitude Trampoline Park

Week 2: Red Bird Skateland

Week 3: Legoland

Week 4: Kids Day at AT&T Stadium

Week 5: Urban Air

Week 6: Boulder Adventure Park

Week 7: Cinemark 14

Week 8: Celebration Station

Week 9: Main Event


Swim Day:

One day per week, the camp will visit The Lagoon to swim.  Parents may opt for their child to wear a life jacket, take a swim test, or refrain from swimming.

Anticipated swim days are on Friday mornings but subject to change based on camp and Lagoon schedule.


Food Program:

Camp Cedar Hill partners with a food provider for the summer season to provide breakfast & lunch for all campers.

If your camper has certain dietary restrictions or cuisine preferences, parents are still welcome to send the child with their own lunch.  Please refrain from items that need to be refrigerated or heated up as these amenities are not available for use.

A morning and an afternoon snack & drink will also be provided during the week.
