Zoning District Map

The Planning Department has launched an Interactive GIS Zoning Map which is available by clicking the link below. The map will allow access to zoning information to improve transparency of data and communicate information that is frequently requested by the public including citizens and development professionals. 

 

Once in the map, users may choose to:

  • Search the map by address or intersection
  • Change the basemap (streets, topographic, aerial imagery, etc.)
  • Make measurements
  • Utilize drawing tools 

It is also possible to view zoning regulations through a hyperlink on the Zoning map.

HOW TO USE THE INTERACTIVE MAP

  • Search the map by address or intersection:                                         1. Select the magnifying glass on the lower right hand corner.             2. Enter address or intersection in the search bar that pops up at the type of the page. Once selected, the map will zoom to the location.
  • Change the basemap (streets, topographic, aerial imagery, etc.):   1. On the toolbar on the left, select the fourth icon “basemap”.               2. Select the basemap from the options provided: imagery, streets, topographic, etc.
  • Make measurements:                        1. On the toolbar on the right, select the last icon “map tools”, then select “measurement”.                                  2. Start to measure by clicking in the map to place your first point. Double click on the final point to finalize measurement.
  • Utilize drawing tools:                          1. On the toolbar on the right, select the second from the bottom icon “sketch”, then select the drawing tools you want to use.                        2. Start by clicking in the map to select your first point. Double click on the final point to finalize shape (if creating a line and/or polygon).
