Neighborhood Organizations

The Neighborhood Services Department actively assists residents in establishing vibrant neighborhood organizations aimed at fostering community engagement and enhancing the overall well-being of our neighborhoods. These organizations serve as ambassadors for their respective areas, nurturing a strong sense of community spirit. Explore the tabs below to delve into the details of the three distinct types of neighborhood organizations.

  1. Homeowner association (hoa)
  2. public improvement district (pid)
  3. Neighborhood watch

Homeowner’s association can be mandatory as part of the initial restrictions of the neighborhood or can be formed voluntarily by concerned residents. Much can be accomplished by HOAs including: maintaining the common area landscaping, cleaner appearance of the neighborhood, special events for the neighborhood, and increased safety.  The Neighborhood Toolkit can assist in getting started with forming an HOA.
